Specific Skills
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 4+ years of experience in Physical Design or related ASIC design domains
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
Responsible For
- Work on Physical Design tasks across various stages of the ASIC design flow — floorplanning, placement, CTS, routing, and sign-off.
- Perform block-level implementation using industry-standard EDA tools (e.g., Cadence Innovus, Synopsys ICC2, or similar).
- Contribute to timing closure, power optimization, and signal-integrity improvements under guidance from senior engineers.
- Execute physical verification activities (DRC/LVS/ANTENNA/ERC) and support efforts to meet manufacturability requirements.
- Develop and maintain basic scripts and automation to improve workflow efficiency.
- Analyze timing reports, congestion maps, and design constraints to help identify issues and assist in resolving bottlenecks.
- Participate in design reviews, documentation updates, and project activities to support tape-out schedules.
